Brittany is the owner and lead artist behind Beauty By B. She’s a permanent makeup artist and educator with 11 years in the beauty industry and 10 years focused on permanent makeup.
Her path began with a medical background in the U.S., followed by nearly two decades back in Canada. After becoming a mom in 2014, she entered the beauty industry through lashes and quickly found her niche in cosmetic tattooing.
Brittany has trained locally and internationally, including education in Vancouver, Toronto, and Hollywood. She also continues to invest in advanced training and annual PMU conferences.
In 2023, Brittany earned 1st place in Microblading at a PMU conference in Las Vegas. She still works behind the chair, and she also teaches and mentors artists through in-person PMU training, skill refinement, and business guidance.
Brittany is the co‑founder of The Beauty Block in Calgary, a collaborative beauty space that supports a wide range of services. Within the studio, she leads and mentors the permanent makeup artists, setting the standards for technique, safety, and client care.
Her leadership extends beyond her own appointments. Brittany actively trains new artists and mentors working professionals through in‑person PMU education, skill refinement, and business guidance. This hands-on involvement ensures that the artists she trains reflect the same values and attention to detail that define her own work.
